gorgeous flowers @ philippe park

 

 I couldn't decide whether or not I liked this picture better in color or black & white (with a touch of color).  I think I like the full color version better, but I put both in this post for good measure.

This flower was just begging to be photographed (it looked lonesome in the parking lot).  It looks much better like this.  In the full color version the dead stuff behind it seems to overshadow just how beautiful it really is.

I'm not sure what these were, but they were really cool looking.  Too cool looking to pass up the opportunity to snap a shot.

I had to post this one.  I just love how warm the trees look behind this one.  They just seem to illuminate everything!
